      FAQ

      General

The Cape Town Big 6 are the city’s six most iconic destinations: Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, Robben Island Museum, V&A Waterfront, Groot Constantia, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, and Cape Point.

Most visitors explore the Big 6 over two to three days, but to truly enjoy each experience, we recommend spending four to five days in Cape Town.

Yes, it’s best to book online before visiting, especially for Robben Island and the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, which can sell out on busy days or be weather-dependent.

Absolutely. All six attractions welcome families, and several (like the V&A Waterfront and Kirstenbosch) offer open spaces, restaurants, and safe areas for children to explore.

Cape Town can be enjoyed year-round. Summer (November – March) offers clear skies and long days, while winter (May – August) brings cooler weather but fewer crowds and lush scenery.

Book a Full Tour through us. Or all six are within easy driving distance of each other. Visitors often use guided tours, ride-sharing apps, or the Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Bus, which connects most of the Big 6 locations.
